Iconic sculptor Anish Kapoor will be heading to Australia later this year to present his latest exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. The exhibit will run from 20 December 2012 – 1 April 2013, and is the first major presentation of his work on Australian shores.
Anish Kapoor, a London based artist, found international success through his experimental sculptures. Each piece very different to the next, they are made from materials such as metals, clay, plastics and wax.
Kapoor’s exhibition will take over nearly the entire MCA – spanning across 2 levels – with one of his artworks entitled Memory (2008) taking up the whole of level 3 in the museum.
Tickets are now available on the MCA website. To learn more about the artist tune in to STUDIO tonight for ‘The World According To Anish Kapoor’ at 6.30pm.
