The 18th Biennale of Sydney is well underway throughout the city including installations at the MCA, Art Gallery of NSW, Pier 3/4 in Walsh Bay and of course Cockatoo Island.

Running until the 16th of September, the Biennale is held every two years throughout the City of Sydney and features exhibitions, artist talks, performances, forums, film screenings, family events, and guided tours that all free to the public.

STUDIO took the opportunity to check out some exhibitions at Cockatoo Island, including the two installations by Jonathan Jones – an Indigenous artist whose work explores the rich Aboriginal history and culture of the island.
