Andrea Bocelli, the Italian Superstar, first came to the world’s attention in 1994 after winning the Newcomers section of the Sanremo Music Festival.

Since then, Bocelli has recorded thirteen solo studio albums, two greatest hits albums and nine complete operas, selling over 80 million records worldwide. He is the biggest-selling solo artist in the history of classical music and was nominated for Best New Artist at the 1999 Grammy Awards making him the first classical artist to be nominated in that category.
