This New York Emmy nominated series pairs world-class musicians with unique and unlikely venues to create intimate, once-in-a-lifetime concerts. With secret shows in over 20 cities, The Artist Den features one-off concerts from artists such as Tori Amos, David Grey, The Black Crowes, Ben Harper, Ringo Starr and many more, in venues such as churches, cinemas, banks and libraries. Alan Light, the former editor of Vibe and Spin, chooses a different artist every week who writes their own music and has a reputation for live performance, to create a spectacular show.

Saturday 28 July 7.30pm – The Black Crowes
World class musicians perform in unique and unlikely venues to create once-in-a-lifetime concerts. Southern rock heroes The Black Crowes showcase their classic sound in a special performance at a former silent movie house in Mississippi.

Saturday 4 August 7:30pm – Corinne Bailey Rae
World class musicians perform in unique and unlikely venues to create once-in-a-lifetime concerts. British neo-soul star Corinne Bailey Rae gives her fans a treat showcasing her new album, The Sea, beneath New York City’s Maritime Hotel.

Saturday 11 August 7:30pm -  Dierks Bentley
World class musicians perform in unique and unlikely venues to create once-in-a-lifetime concerts. Multi-platinum country singer Dierks Bentley performs in the Ravenswood Billboard Factory in Chicago.

Saturday 18 August 7:30pm – Booker T. Jone; Betty Lavette; The Drive By Truckers
World class musicians perform in unique and unlikely venues to create once-in-a-lifetime concerts. Catch the rich soul of Booker T and the Drive By Truckers as they perform an intimate gig in the University of New Orleans’ library.
