STUDIO brings you one of the theatre highlights of Sydney Festival 2012 with Never Did Me Any Harm. Sydney Theatre Company and contemporary dance company Force Majeure unite for a stunning dance theatre work filmed at The Wharf in February 2012.
Melding dance theatre, incredible lighting and dialogue taken from real-life interviews, choreographer Kate Champion offers a fascinating look at the challenges of parenting.
What makes a good parent? Force Majeure is known for transforming the familiar and domestic into poetic dance works that combine movement with fascinating real-life stories.
Set in a suburban backyard and inspired by Christos Tsiolkas’ best-selling novel The Slap, Champion uses verbatim dialogue taken from parents and children, that will make you laugh, cry and maybe even cringe.
