Bangarra Dance Theatre stunned audiences with their contribution to Infinity – the Australian Ballet’s 50th anniversary celebration – and they return to the Sydney Opera House this July with Terrain.
After captivating audiences in Melbourne, the nine-part performance from Australia’s indigenous dance company comes to Sydney for a month-long season that The Australian called “breathtaking… even mind-blowing.”
The new show transports the audience to Lake Eyre – Australia’s inland sea – to explore the relationship of indigenous people to country through Frances Rings’ spell-binding choreography.
With yet another beautiful score by David Page, and flowing costumes from Jennifer Irwin, this is Bangarra Dance Theatre at its finest.
